A Crosscultural Experiential View On Kundalini Spiritual Awakening
Thirty two years ago I started my journey, a dramatic and fascinating inner and outer journey into the process that unfolds once that powerful spiritual energy that was inner is ignited and also the experience of spiritual awakening radio.
It was my great good fortune to receive shaktipat initiation the global spiritual awakening who had been the realized Master of at that time the Siddha Yoga lineage. I say because, in this tradition, not only is the initiation given it was my great good fortune, but for understanding the awakening and also the spiritual experiences and process that unfolds as a result of it, the necessary teachings are openly and freely given. I shortly realized, through the experiences of others around me who'd received shaktipat and also my own, personal internal experience, that this inner energy that was divine not only gets the capacity to give one the highest of mystical experiences, but is also a healer that was supreme. In her target to take the seeker to the realization of oneness she must help our inner obstacles to be removed by us in the psychic, mental, psychological, physical and religious degrees. Just like any development and healing process, being faced with obstacles, limitations, negative emotions, negative tendencies and previous difficult experiences and open issues, might be hard and at times frightening.
When combined with intense, spontaneous encounters of energy moving in manners that the individual has no previous training, knowledge or understanding of, it can be overwhelming, leading the individual to get help from clergy, religious advisors, mental health practitioners and holistic practitioners-many of whom are lacking in the required experience as well as knowledge to supply satisfactory support, and some of whom may actually misdiagnose the person 's encounter, tagging it pathological. Hence it is critical that anyone providing support to people with awakened kundalini have knowledge and experience of the kundalini procedure across cultures that are spiritual.
Energetic Paradigms Across Traditions
There are numerous names for the kundalini across traditions that are religious. When one investigates the mystical texts, poetry and anecdotal content of various traditions experiential paradigms appear describing movement and the awakening of the transforming inner power. The system that is articulated is the Chakra/Nadi system that appears in Sufism, Tibetan Buddhism and Yoga. The spiritual awakening definition and moves up through the central channel or sushumna, piercing the chakras or energy centres in the subtle, energy body. In the process of moving through the chakras the kundalini releases various physical, mental, psychological, psychic and spiritual experiences.
The Christian system is less completely articulated, but is hinted at in the Book of Revelations as John, after receiving the awakening of the Holy Spirit afterwards experiences a run of mystical visions. In one of them he's revealed the seven spirits of God who preside over them along with the seven seals. Each seal signifies a level of revelation or consciousness. In Kabbalah, the mystical path of Judaism, there is an intricate system of the Tree of Life and the sefiroth. Mention is also made of the 7 heavens and the Hebrew letters or sounds used to achieve them. In the Native American tradition, vibrational facilities that run along the axis or spinal column are described by the Hopi Creation Story. These five centres are located at the very highest part of the head, at one's heart, the throat, just below the very top of the head and under the navel -a system quite similar to the chakra system. A berger woman seated on an uncoiling serpent is, shown by a clay artifact found by archeologists in the knolls of the ancient Cahokian tribes that lived along the Mississsippi River in what is now the state of Illinois. The serpent rises just like a vine up the center of her back, along which are placed a number of gourds. The uncoiling serpent is, in the traditions of Yoga, a symbol of the spiritual awakening , or serpent power.
